Welcome Back!
We are excited to welcome new and returning students to our music program at Cedar Hill!
We have made a couple of changes to our program over the summer. Please welcome Mr. Steve DeVries to our music staff! Mr. DeVries will be leading our strings program this year. He is an accomplished violinist and is a familiar face around Cedar Hill. Mr. DeVries also teaches drama exploratory.
Long and McQuade Instrument Rental Night
Our instrument rental night will be on Tuesday, September 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the music room.
Music Student Registration
Our student registration process has also been modified. Students may now register for our music classes by completing a quick online form! Please follow the link on our "Registration" page. Paper copies will still be made available upon request. A student registration is requested for each student in our music program (one per student, not per class).
Grade 6 Students:
There will be a music program assembly Friday afternoon. At that time, we will answer any questions about the music classes that we offer. Students will be introduced to the various instruments and classes. Following the assembly, students may sign-up for music classes. **Students may also join our music classes through the month of September.
Grade 7 & 8 Students:
Please stop by the music room during the first week to sign up for music classes.
