Choir
Cedar Hill has a thriving choral program consisting of Concert Choir, Show Choir, and Cantare Vocal Ensemble. Our Concert Choir has become well known in recent years and won several awards and recognition in our community and in BC. These ensembles require a full year commitment. Please think about this commitment and have a serious discussion between child and parent concerning this. Keep in mind that for ensembles that meet outside of the timetable, attendance is essential; if you cannot make it to these rehearsal times, please talk with Mrs. McKnight to see if something can be arranged.
Concert Choir
Concert Choir is our foundational choir where students learn to develop excellent vocal technique. Music varies from classical to contemporary to pop to world music. This is a co-requisite for participation in our other choral classes. Students in Concert Choir travel to various festivals throughout the year.

Show Choir
Show Choir is all about “singing in motion”. Students are exposed to songs from movies as well as music from Broadway musicals. Choreography and stage presence are keys to this choral class. Students must be registered in Concert Choir to participate in this choir ensemble.
Cantare - Changing Voices Ensemble
Cantare is an extension to our Concert Choir program. This ensemble focuses on the male voice and encourages our male singers to sing freely through the voice changing years.
